- Spreadsheets for Business Applications – Objective: To introduce commonly encountered financial and business calculations which can be done efficiently with a spreadsheet, to provide practical experience solving these types of problems using Excel 2019/Excel 365 and a business case approach, and to plan, build , test and document excel worksheets using advanced techniques including data management, Solver, pivot tables, scenario management and working with multiple worksheets.
- Business Communication – Practical application of language usage skills with emphasis on correct approach to and effective strategies for writing and editing business media. Focus topics include effective and proper use of business media and reference materials, expansion of spelling and vocabulary, use of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the writing and editing of assigned business cases and principles of document formatting/design.
- First Year Seminar – Orientation course for first semester students in the Business Information Technology Program. Introduces students to college and departmental policies and procedures, assist students with advisement and registration practices and familiarize students with the services available on campus. Students are exposed to carious tolls and techniques that will aid in the academic success and hep allow them to keep pace in the constantly moving field of information technology. Learn how to organize and market their skills through the creation of an electronic portfolio. This will allow students to create a dynamic record of their abilities to help market themselves and gain a competitive advantage in the job market or when applying to a 4-year university. Students will learn the basics of designing and creating their own blog or website using WordPress to tie their skills together.

- Introduction to Psychology – Survey of basic psychology. Primary topics include research methods, the biological basis of behavior, learning, memory, motivation, personality, psychopathology and psychotherapy. Additional topics include history, sensation and perception, cognition, emotion, growth and development, stress and coping, and social psychology.
- Healthful Living – A comprehensive overview of current health and wellness themes that will assist students in critical thinking and making well informed decisions regarding health-related issues. Topic areas include drug misuse and abuse, nutrition and weight management, human sexuality, stress reduction, cancer prevention, cardiovascular disease and others. State mandated Child Abuse Identification and Reporting and Safe Schools Against Violence in Education workshops will be made available in this course.
- Nutrition & Health – A lecture course that will present information on nutrients and their use by the body. Includes discussion of the digestion, absorption, metabolism and dietary sources of micro- and macro-nutrients necessary for human health. Explore the social, psychological and economic forces which affect nutrition and food choice. Develop an ability to analyze the dietary adequacy of foods and critically discuss current issues and topics in nutrition. Students will formulate a personal wellness plan; students will demonstrate their understanding of observation, measurement and data collection, evaluation of evidence, and employment of mathematical analysis.
